Curriculum should be designed as a series of progressive modules with a focus on active learning rather passive learning. This means making the curriculum as hands-on and application-based as possible.
A curriculum is a series of modules. For each module in a curriculum, the following elements should be evaluated:
- What are the overall takeaways for this unit?
- What motivational or inspirational information should I include?
- i.e Teaching is the best way to reinforce learning
- i.e This can be challenging and frustrating at first, and that's normal.

- What major technical learning milestones should be hit in this unit?
