Mitumba is a Cloudflare-native PWA marketplace purpose-built for Kenya's second-hand fashion market — the largest in Africa. We're solving the three problems that have kept mitumba trading informal and fragmented:
Trust — Buyers get scammed on WhatsApp and Facebook every day. Mitumba holds payments in M-Pesa escrow until delivery is confirmed. Every seller has a live Seller Trust Index (STI) — a score driven by fulfillment rate, listing accuracy, and response time, not just star ratings.
Discovery — Finding the right item across thousands of listings is hard. VAZI, our AI outfit engine, scans all active listings and assembles complete, buyable looks — top, bottom, shoes — matched by color, style, and occasion. One button. One cart. One look.
Try before you buy — VAZI's virtual try-on lets buyers see how an item looks on their own body before paying. No more guessing on fit or color from a photo.

Built entirely on Cloudflare's edge platform — Workers, D1, R2, KV, Durable Objects, Queues, Pages, and Workers AI. Flutter Web PWA frontend. M-Pesa payments via Intasend. Notifications via WhatsApp Business API and Africa's Talking.
