Added DOI and build status badges to README.

Pull request overview
Adds repository metadata badges to the project’s README to improve visibility of publication/citation info and CI status.
Changes:
- Added a Zenodo DOI badge linking to the project’s DOI.
- Kept the existing GitHub Actions build status badge, with the DOI badge placed above it.
