Biomedical engineer & neuroimaging researcher working at the intersection of MRI physics, reproducible data pipelines, and clinical research. I work with diffusion-MRI, functional MRI, and brain-age models for pediatric cancer survivor populations, and turn messy neuroimaging workflows into pipelines that actually run end-to-end on HPC.
Currently a Study Coordinator in Radiology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine (PI: Tim Duong), working on neuroimaging of pediatric cancer survivors.
Outside the lab: guitar, badminton, and chasing clear skies for astrophotography π β planetary conjunctions and the occasional moon shot.
- Brain-age prediction in pediatric cancer survivors β DL model ensembles (ViT / CNN, diffusion-based) in PyTorch
- Diffusion-MRI microstructure β NODDI, DKI, WMTI, and free-water modeling applied to different clinical cohorts like leukemia survivors, ASD
- Functional MRI preprocessing - Preprocessing of functional MRI data for resting-state and task-based fMRI studies
- Reproducible HPC pipelines β registration (ANTs), preprocessing, and analysis workflows built to run reliably on a Slurm cluster
- Recently submitted a Systematic review on chemotherapy-related brain changes in pediatric cancer survivors (under review)
- Microvascular and microstructural brain abnormalities in paediatric haematological cancer survivors are related to cognitive deficits: An IVIM-FWI MRI study β British Journal of Haematology (2026). A three-compartment IVIM-FWI diffusion model revealed reduced microvascular perfusion and increased free water in survivors' brains, in regions tied to cognition β and those changes tracked with poorer cognitive test performance.
- MRI Textural Changes Are More Sensitive Than Volumetric Changes in the Amygdala of Cocaine Use Disorder Patients (first author) β NMR in Biomedicine (2026). Amygdala texture features detected longitudinal brain changes that volumetry missed, pointing to texture analysis as a more sensitive imaging biomarker.
