Builder. Musician. Student of reality.
I believe technology should help people think more clearly, create more freely, and live more intentionally.
Right now I'm focused on mastering the web from the ground up: HTML, CSS (layout algorithms, not just colors), JavaScript, React, and Next.js. Alongside that, I'm exploring DevOps, cloud infrastructure, and self‑hosting – because I want to understand the whole stack, from UI to metal.
Most things I build revolve around a simple idea:
Technology should amplify human potential, not replace it.
Whether it's Rafidi (intentional living & reflection), My Daftari (business records for African entrepreneurs), or future AI systems that act as guides rather than substitutes – I'm interested in creating tools that work alongside human creativity.
- Mastering JavaScript beyond the framework layer
- Learning CSS as a system of layouts – flex, grid, flow, and the magic in between
- Building production‑grade apps with React and Next.js
- Diving into Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and the foundations of self‑hosted infrastructure
- Studying AI agents and human‑centered AI design (LangChain, agents, RAG)
| Project | Status |
|---|---|
| [Rafidi] | Internal testing – a platform for intentional living, journaling, habits, and personal growth |
| [My Daftari] | Under development – business document generator + inventory for Kenyan/African markets |
- Systems beat motivation.
- Consistency compounds.
- Understanding is more valuable than memorisation.
- Creativity belongs to everyone.
- Technology should make people more capable, not more dependent.
- There's always a third door – a better way than the obvious trade‑offs.
Darkness isn't the point – it's the light inside it.
I write about frontend development, learning in public, and the philosophy behind building.

I don't build to replace thinking. I build to expand the space of possible outcomes.
Like Senku from Dr. Stone – when everyone sees a trade‑off, I look for the hidden third door. With technology, no one has to die. No one has to settle for less than they can become.
The workshop is noisy. The blueprints are scattered.
But every commit adds another stone to the foundation.
Let's build. 🔨
