BIC Shield Compat

A lightweight server side Minecraft 1.20.1 Forge mod that injects the correct Forge entity tags onto Born in Chaos shield users.

What This Mod Does

Born in Chaos adds two shield-using mobs: the Skeleton Thrasher and the Door Knight, but they are missing the forge:shield_users entity tag. This means mods that check this tag to determine shield behavior do not recognize them as shield users. This mod injects the correct tags at runtime.

Requirements

Minecraft 1.20.1, Forge 47.x, Born in Chaos. No other mods required.

Installation

Place the jar in your mods folder. No configuration needed.

Server Side Only

This mod only needs to be installed on the server.
