Welcome to the vs-dirty wiki!

This wiki is designed to guide you in the process of understanding our way of video filtering with Vapoursynth.

The project began following an attempt to clean up the noise on a film scan, once we realized the magnitude of the filter that was emerging, we decided to share the potential of film denoising with others. As we improved the filter's usability, we realized its versatility even on purely digital products. Furthermore, the number of internal dependencies was growing to the point where we could consider it a real set of useful filters.

Overall, we currently have:

• adaptive denoising.
• support for BM3D Neon (coming soon).
• multiple masks.
• a new antialiaser.
• a bore wrapper.
• a function to automatically switch video sources.
• a port of auto_deblock.
