Replaced Arrangement.spacedBy with manual Spacers in ExpressiveChannelItem to prevent a sudden 14dp height jump when the topics list finishes its exit animation. By moving the spacer inside AnimatedVisibility, the vertical gap now shrinks smoothly along with the content.
