Follow-up to PR #2. Post-merge M1.27 qualification exposed one remaining direct helper invocation inside
verify-transparency-snapshot.sh:verify-release-index.shwas executed directly and failed with exit 126 because the checkout file mode was not executable. Invoke that helper explicitly via POSIXsh, preserving the same verification contract while removing file-mode dependence.
