New visits now start with three steps: choose the comparison, describe the household, and review relevant details. Completing setup opens the existing editable results view with the entered values preserved. Shared calculation links still open directly to results; a full-form shortcut and a guided-setup return button support repeat use.
Childcare schedule, provider, and funded-slot questions appear when paid care is entered. The flow explains living-arrangement and child-claiming assumptions, keeps US calendar years separate from UK fiscal years, and uses the existing design tokens and dropdown components. Tax and benefit calculations are unchanged.
Validation: 244 frontend tests, 38 backend tests, production build, and ESLint (zero errors; 11 existing warnings). Browser checks covered the US calculation flow, UK housing inputs, retained values, keyboard focus, and a 390px mobile viewport.
