Forms in the Pool

Love the mod!

My main issue is any forms I put into the pool are reset to the default form. For example, I put in a galarian slowpoke, and when looking at the pool it displayed as a regular slowpoke. I checked the config file and in the data is was still galarian so I assumed this was just a visual bug, but when I got the slowpoke out of the pool again it had converted back to standard slowpoke :(

If you have any suggested fixes/things to try lmk, otherwise I will happily wait for the next release.

That's a known issue, which I'm not sure how to address. It's to do with how cobblemon processes forms together with aspects.

I hope the next cobblemon release gives me something to fix this in a nice way.

I've managed to force it to work with forms by removing the pokemon <> props <> string conversion and adding the following to the initial pool generation

                var forms = pokemon.getSpecies().getForms().stream().filter(formData -> !formData.getDynamaxBlocked()).toList();
                if (forms.size() > 1) {
                    var blep = forms.get(rng.nextInt(forms.size()));
                    if (!blep.getAspects().isEmpty()) {
                        pokemon.setForcedAspects(Set.copyOf(blep.getAspects()));
                    }
                }
                pool.pokemon.add(pokemon);

not sure why but the conversion process loses the plot, I also had to disable saving and loading the pool to file because I can't be assed to make that work
