- PublicNode sheds eth_call (529, 15-25 s) while its block number stays healthy, so it passed startup and failed gate reads; dRPC, Pocket and Sentio replace it as defaults in Settings and in the bridge fallback, the rest stay as rows to turn on
- Saved selections are kept as they were
- An access-quorum read that never answers now costs the gate read deadline, not the whole decision
- A write whose block-number read failed on every RPC is retried instead of being reported as a permanent error
- dRPC, Pocket and Sentio are on; Blockmachine (60 requests/min per IP without a key), Tenderly (community and gateway), QuickNode, PublicNode and 1RPC stay as rows to turn on - A saved selection keeps its choice; the new rows arrive off - The legacy 'custom' preset now migrates with these three beside its URL, and the bridge's own fallback is the same list Co-authored-by: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

- The SDK's FallbackProvider turns that failure into INVALID_ARGUMENT (argument "%internal"), which ChainErrors read as permanent, so a write that had landed was never retried - The bridge marks it from the wrapped error's code and argument; any other invalid argument still fails at once Co-authored-by: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
