- With quorum 1 the SDK gives each request to one chosen endpoint at random, so a degraded one failed its share of reads; the block number alone passed startup while eth_call was shed
- Before the client is built the page probes each chosen endpoint with the block number and the SDK's most frequent contract read, 3 s each; the SDK, the gate reads, the quorum and the estimator get the ones that pass, in the user's order and never down to none
- Probed again every 15 minutes and after three RPC failures; the bridge is reloaded only when the healthy set changes, at most every 10 minutes and never inside a ChainGuard window
- Settings show which endpoints were left out and why
