- With quorum 1 the SDK gives each request to one chosen endpoint at random, so a degraded one failed its share of reads and the user saw errors; the block number alone passed startup while eth_call was shed
- Each chosen endpoint is now probed with the block number and the SDK's most frequent contract read, 3 s each; the SDK, the gate reads, the access quorum and gas estimation get the ones that pass, in the user's order and never down to none
- Probed again every 15 minutes and after three RPC read failures; the client is rebuilt only when the healthy set changes, at most every 10 minutes and never with a chain write in flight
- Settings show which endpoints were left out and why
