Can you explain what this is for? I switched to CMake because it is nearly impossible to maintain configuration files for visual studio, eclipse, xcode, vs code, and many others. I wonder if a prompt written in English could serve to tell some LLM how you'd like to configure VS Code -- if it worked, it could go into a readme and might be more robust than specific JSON which will certainly become obsolete soon (even LLMs have a hard time keeping up with vscode parameters. Finally, is the hardcoded path to mixxx-2.5.4 necessary? Is it portable?
