Changes:
• DOM Caching: We cache DOM elements that are accessed multiple times to avoid repetitive jQuery lookups. • Use of let and const: const is used for elements that do not change, while let is preferable for variables that may change. • Switch-case: The switch statement is more readable for handling different card types compared to multiple if-else blocks. • Cleaner logic: I replaced some redundant logic and grouped similar operations to make the code more readable and easier to maintain.
