Command Send and Receive Plugin Tutorials

Tutorial files that demonstrate how to use the Command Send and Recieve Utility Plugin. These files were created for the Q-SYS Communities for Developers platform. Please join Communities for access to more content for developers.

Description

This respository consists of two tutorial files:

  • Command TxRx Utility TCP Example

    • Use the Command Send and Receive Utility to send commands via TCP
    • Use received commands to update real-time feedback
    • Put your new skills to the test with a fun programming challenge
  • Command TxRx Utility HTTP Example Postman Echo

    • Use the Command Send and Receive Utility in HTTP mode
    • Test HTTP requests using the Postman Echo API
    • Put your new skills to the test with a fun programming challenge

Getting Started

  • See the "00 Instructions" schematic pages of the design files for instructions on how to use these sample files
  • Page 01 of each file has a demonstration of how to use the utility Plugin
  • Page 02 of each file has a programming challenge to put your new knowlege to the test. Please note that the programming challenges have accompanying UCIs.
