🧠 LLM + RAG Implementation

Semantic Understanding (LLM Component)

# Using Sentence Transformers for semantic analysis
model = SentenceTransformer('all-MiniLM-L6-v2')

def semantic_search(query, documents):
    # Convert to embeddings
    query_embedding = model.encode([query])
    doc_embeddings = model.encode(documents)

    # Compute similarity
    similarities = util.pytorch_cos_sim(query_embedding, doc_embeddings)

    # Return most relevant chunks
    return get_top_chunks(similarities, documents)

Answer Synthesis (LLM-style Generation)

def generate_llm_style_answer(query, context_chunks):
    # Pattern-based synthesis mimicking LLM behavior
    if is_technical_question(query):
        return technical_synthesis(query, context_chunks)
    elif is_comparative_question(query):
        return comparative_synthesis(query, context_chunks)
    else:
        return general_synthesis(query, context_chunks)
