Von Cramm gets wireless internet from Cornell.
In the past, we got cable from Spectrum. As of Spring 2018, we no longer pay for cable. Spectrum still sends us advertisements multiple times a week.
Ethernet
All rooms in Von Cramm have two ethernet ports which are hooked up to routers on the second floor. At time of writing, these routers are turned on, but appear to be connected to no service-providing modem.
Here is an email from CIT on our ethernet:
Hi Agrippa,
We would not be able to use your old providers infrastructure (cabling, routers, switches etc.). We would need to install new equipment and run new cabling in order for us to provide our Ethernet service to your location. This would need to approved, requested and paid for by Fraternities and Sororities. If that's really what you want, then you should check with them. They would be the one who would initiate the process.
Sincerely,
Brian
