Bumps the npm_and_yarn group with 3 updates in the / directory: @xmldom/xmldom, lodash and path-to-regexp.

Updates @xmldom/xmldom from 0.8.11 to 0.8.12

Release notes

Sourced from @xmldom/xmldom's releases.

0.8.12

Commits

Fixed

Code that passes a string containing "]]>" to createCDATASection and relied on the previously unsafe behavior will now receive InvalidCharacterError. Use a mutation method such as appendData if you intentionally need "]]>" in a CDATASection node's data.

Thank you, @thesmartshadow, @stevenobiajulu, for your contributions

Updates lodash from 4.17.23 to 4.18.1

Release notes

Sourced from lodash's releases.

4.18.1

Bugs

Fixes a ReferenceError issue in lodash lodash-es lodash-amd and lodash.template when using the template and fromPairs functions from the modular builds. See lodash/lodash#6167

These defects were related to how lodash distributions are built from the main branch using https://github.com/lodash-archive/lodash-cli. When internal dependencies change inside lodash functions, equivalent updates need to be made to a mapping in the lodash-cli. (hey, it was ahead of its time once upon a time!). We know this, but we missed it in the last release. It's the kind of thing that passes in CI, but fails bc the build is not the same thing you tested.

There is no diff on main for this, but you can see the diffs for each of the npm packages on their respective branches:

4.18.0

v4.18.0

Full Changelog: lodash/lodash@4.17.23...4.18.0

Security

_.unset / _.omit: Fixed prototype pollution via constructor/prototype path traversal (GHSA-f23m-r3pf-42rh, fe8d32e). Previously, array-wrapped path segments and primitive roots could bypass the existing guards, allowing deletion of properties from built-in prototypes. Now constructor and prototype are blocked unconditionally as non-terminal path keys, matching baseSet. Calls that previously returned true and deleted the property now return false and leave the target untouched.

_.template: Fixed code injection via imports keys (GHSA-r5fr-rjxr-66jc, CVE-2026-4800, 879aaa9). Fixes an incomplete patch for CVE-2021-23337. The variable option was validated against reForbiddenIdentifierChars but importsKeys was left unguarded, allowing code injection via the same Function() constructor sink. imports keys containing forbidden identifier characters now throw "Invalid imports option passed into _.template".

Docs

  • Add security notice for _.template in threat model and API docs (#6099)
  • Document lower > upper behavior in _.random (#6115)
  • Fix quotes in _.compact jsdoc (#6090)

lodash.* modular packages

Diff

We have also regenerated and published a select number of the lodash.* modular packages.

These modular packages had fallen out of sync significantly from the minor/patch updates to lodash. Specifically, we have brought the following packages up to parity w/ the latest lodash release because they have had CVEs on them in the past:

Commits
  • cb0b9b9 release(patch): bump main to 4.18.1 (#6177)
  • 75535f5 chore: prune stale advisory refs (#6170)
  • 62e91bc docs: remove n_ Node.js < 6 REPL note from README (#6165)
  • 59be2de release(minor): bump to 4.18.0 (#6161)
  • af63457 fix: broken tests for _.template 879aaa9
  • 1073a76 fix: linting issues
  • 879aaa9 fix: validate imports keys in _.template
  • fe8d32e fix: block prototype pollution in baseUnset via constructor/prototype traversal
  • 18ba0a3 refactor(fromPairs): use baseAssignValue for consistent assignment (#6153)
  • b819080 ci: add dist sync validation workflow (#6137)
  • Additional commits viewable in compare view

Updates path-to-regexp from 8.3.0 to 8.4.2

Release notes

Sourced from path-to-regexp's releases.

v8.4.2

Fixed

  • Error on trailing backslash (#434) 9a78879

Performance

  • Minimize array allocations (#437) 937c02d
  • Improve compile performance (#436) 57247e6
    • Should improve compilation performance by ~25%
  • Remove internal tokenization during parse (#435) 5844988
    • Should improve parse performance by ~20%

Bundle size to 1.93 kB, from 1.97 kB.

pillarjs/path-to-regexp@v8.4.1...v8.4.2

v8.4.1

Fixed

  • Remove trie deduplication (#431) 6bc8e84
    • Using a trie required non-greedy matching, which regressed wildcards in non-ending mode by matching them up until the first match. For example:
      • /*foo with /a/b = /a
      • /*foo.htmlwith /a/b.html/c.html = /a/b.html
  • Allow backtrack handling to match itself (#427) 5bcd30b
    • When backtracking was introduced, it rejected matching things like /:"a"_:"b" against /foo__. This makes intuitive sense because the second parameter is not going to backtrack on _ anymore, but it's somewhat unexpected since there's no reason it shouldn't match the second _.

pillarjs/path-to-regexp@v8.4.0...v8.4.1

v8.4.0

Important

Fixed

Changed

  • Dedupes regex prefixes (pillarjs/path-to-regexp#422)
    • This will result in shorter regular expressions for some cases using optional groups
  • Rejects large optional route combinations (pillarjs/path-to-regexp#424)
    • When using groups such as /users{/delete} it will restrict the number of generated combinations to < 256, equivalent to 8 top-level optional groups and unlikely to occur in a real world application, but avoids exploding the regex size for applications that accept user created routes

…alerts (#516)

* build(deps): update npm dependencies

Includes the Dependabot updates from #514 (minor and patch group), #504
(@xmldom/xmldom, lodash, path-to-regexp) and #502 (TypeScript 6), plus
in-range updates of transitive dependencies. node-cron 4.6 ships its own
types, so @types/node-cron is removed.

* ci: bump actions/checkout to v7, dependency-review-action to v5, release-please-action to v5

From #512. All three only move the action runtime to Node 24.

* style: apply Prettier 3.9 formatting and drop assertions TypeScript 6 makes unnecessary

* fix(deps): replace @xenova/transformers with @huggingface/transformers

@xenova/transformers 2.x is deprecated and pulls protobufjs 6 (critical
advisory), sharp 0.32 and an old onnxruntime-web. @huggingface/transformers
4.3.1 brings protobufjs 7.6.6, sharp 0.35.5 and onnxruntime-node 1.30.

The local provider loads the same model with dtype q8 (onnx/model_quantized.onnx,
the 2.x default), so vectors stay compatible with existing indexes.

The model is now cached in ~/.libscope/models. The library default is a
folder inside its own package; version 4 fails the model load when it
cannot write there (global installs, the non-root user of the Docker image).

sharp and onnxruntime-node ship prebuilt binaries, so CI and the Docker
image rebuild only better-sqlite3.

* fix(deps): drop epub2 and parse EPUB files with pizzip

epub2 pulls adm-zip 0.5 (high advisories). The EPUB parser now reads
META-INF/container.xml, the OPF package and its spine with pizzip, which
the PPTX parser already uses, and extracts chapter text with a linear tag
scanner. The output format is unchanged: body text of each spine document
in reading order, chapters separated by a blank line. Character references
are now decoded.

Entries are inflated with a bounded output size, and an EPUB whose content
exceeds 100 MiB uncompressed (the indexing.maxDocumentSize default) is
refused with a ValidationError.

* fix(deps): bump csv-parse to v7

csv-parse < 7.0.2 has a moderate advisory (prototype replacement via
columns). Version 7 keeps the csv-parse/sync API that the CSV parser uses.

* chore(deps): ignore undici major updates in Dependabot

undici 8 requires Node.js >= 22.19, and libscope supports Node.js 20.
