Startup Validator 🚀

Startup Validator is a lightweight browser-based tool that helps founders turn rough startup ideas into clearer validation plans.

It analyzes an idea, identifies the likely industry, gives a startup strength score, surfaces market/competitor considerations, and suggests practical next steps for validation.

Why I built this

Many first-time founders start by building too much before validating whether customers actually care. Startup Validator helps move from a vague idea to concrete questions:

  • What problem am I solving?
  • Who is the customer?
  • How painful is the problem?
  • What market am I entering?
  • Who else is already solving this?
  • How could this become a business?
  • What should I test before building the full product?

Features

  • 📝 Startup idea input form
  • 🔍 Idea strength scoring
  • 🧠 Problem, market, competition, and revenue analysis
  • 🌐 Curated market research by industry
  • ⚔️ Competitor and market reality checks
  • 🧪 Founder validation plan with risky assumptions
  • 🗣️ Customer interview questions
  • 🛠️ MVP scope suggestions
  • 📅 7-day validation sprint
  • 📣 Landing page pitch draft
  • 💡 Strategic recommendations
  • 🎬 Embedded startup learning resources

YC / Founder Angle

This project is focused on helping founders validate faster. The goal is to reduce wasted time by encouraging builders to test assumptions, compare competitors, understand markets, and define experiments before spending months building the wrong thing.
