I have implemented a series of micro-UX and accessibility improvements across the Foundery.Space interface:

💡 Search Enhancements: Added a themed "Clear search" button to the browse page search input. It follows the existing bracketed aesthetic [ X ] and allows users to quickly reset their query.

Accessibility Improvements:

  • Added aria-label to the main search input and clear button.
  • Implemented aria-pressed state on the "OPEN_ONLY" and "VIEW_ALL" status filters to communicate active states to screen readers.
  • Enhanced the mobile menu toggle with dynamic aria-label ("Open menu"/"Close menu") and aria-expanded state.
  • Added a descriptive aria-label to the "More filters" sheet close button.

🎨 Technical Polish:

  • Adjusted search input padding to ensure no text overlap with the new clear button.
  • Ensured the clear button uses type="button" to prevent accidental form submissions.

Verified via pnpm lint, pnpm build, and Playwright visual regression tests.
