Overview

The Meaning Physics Engine is a deterministic, schema‑validated visualization system built on top of the DSLO deterministic semantic substrate.
Where the DSLO substrate provides the frozen scientific manifold, the Meaning Physics Engine provides the interactive, inspectable physics layer — a way to see drift, continuity, curvature, collapse boundaries, restoration flows, and susceptibility windows as structured semantic fields.

This engine is not a runtime, inference system, or semantic generator.
It is a viewer: a scientific instrument for inspecting DSLO meaning‑physics fields.


Purpose

The Meaning Physics Engine enables:

  • deterministic loading of DSLO physics fields
  • schema‑bound validation
  • invariant‑aligned field identity
  • visualization of semantic geometry
  • inspection of field data for research and pedagogy

It is designed for:

  • semantic physics research
  • meaning stability studies
  • visualization of DSLO invariants
  • cross‑domain scientific communication
  • deterministic meaning‑system instrumentation

Architecture

Field Layer (fields/)

Contains the six DSLO meaning‑physics fields:

  • DriftField.json
  • ContinuityField.json
  • CurvatureField.json
  • CollapseBoundaries.json
  • RestorationFlows.json
  • SusceptibilityWindows.json

Each field is deterministic, self‑describing, and invariant‑anchored.


Schema Layer (schemas/)

Each field has a corresponding schema:

  • DriftField.schema.json
  • ContinuityField.schema.json
  • CurvatureField.schema.json
  • CollapseBoundaries.schema.json
  • RestorationFlows.schema.json
  • SusceptibilityWindows.schema.json

Schemas enforce:

  • required keys
  • invariant field identity
  • structural correctness
  • drift‑bounded evolution

Loader Layer (loader.js)

The loader:

  • loads all six schemas
  • loads all six fields
  • validates each field deterministically
  • exposes a stable API:

The loader is execution‑free and deterministic.


Visualization Layer (meaning-geometry.html)

The Meaning Geometry Map:

  • loads all fields through the loader
  • displays a simple geometry projection
  • renders field nodes
  • provides a debug panel showing loaded field data

Future versions will include:

  • drift vector fields
  • continuity gradients
  • curvature deformation
  • collapse boundary shading
  • restoration flow arrows
  • susceptibility heatmaps

Field Summary

Drift

Directional semantic drift across the manifold.

Continuity

Identity stability and trajectory coherence.

Curvature

Non‑linear deformation of meaning geometry.

Collapse Boundaries

Regions where semantic collapse occurs.

Restoration Flows

Invariant‑anchored flows returning meaning to stable basins.

Susceptibility Windows

Regions where small perturbations produce large semantic changes.


Relationship to DSLO Substrate

The Meaning Physics Engine:

  • reads DSLO fields
  • validates DSLO schemas
  • visualizes DSLO physics

It does not:

  • modify the substrate
  • generate meaning
  • execute semantic transformations

It is a viewer, not a substrate.


Status

v0.1 is a working demonstrator.
It is stable, deterministic, and schema‑validated.
