The switch is remembered across runs, but the content always started on the Dashboard: closing the app in Remote Desktop mode brought it back with the SSH dashboard under a switch saying Remote Desktop, until you toggled it twice. A selector screen that doesn't belong to the current mode now goes to that mode's own — at startup and when the saved mode is read back just after. Settings and open sessions are left alone. Files travel over RDP's clipboard channel, the way mstsc does it (IronRDP's RdpFileTransferProvider): - Into the session: drop files or folders on the tab (or "Send files"), then paste them into a folder there with Ctrl+V. A panel follows the copy: ready, bytes copied, done. - Out of it: copying files on the remote desktop offers them in the tab; "Save…" asks for a folder here (Downloads by default) and keeps the folder structure. Names and paths from the remote side are untrusted: no "..", no absolute paths, no device names, nothing overwritten, and only into a folder the user picked in that dialog. - The web client's own clipboard sync is paused while files are fetched — it would otherwise replace the remote file list mid-download (found against a real Windows); a download that stops moving fails after 30 s with a hint instead of hanging. - Goes with the profile's clipboard setting. Tested against the Windows target: 2 files (20 MB) sent and pasted in about 2 s, copied back and saved byte-identical; a dropped file lands after Ctrl+V.
