SockSite is too lenient in offline determination. server cooties strike significantly before the current threshold of 0.5. raise the threshold to make the site more sensitive to cooties

May I suggest having a graduated set of alerts? Leave the online/offline threshold at 0.5, but have a 'molasses' threshold of 0.75, with its own alerts?

that does sound like an excellent plan, additionally the algorithm for the overall like appears to need to be tweaked. the timeouts have a disproportionally large impact on the overall score thanks to being recorded as 599 http status.
