I care about how unfamiliar worlds work: how planetary environments form and evolve, what controls habitability, and how life — or traces of it — can originate, persist, and be detected. Over a longer horizon, that curiosity extends to humanity's future beyond Earth and how we may eventually interact with planetary environments.
