funnily enough the app is upside down for me, title bar is right way up. Works fine with XWayland

The embedded mpv is the right way up though haha:

Trying to fullscreen either by double clicking or pressing f does not work, with the error Failed to convert IpcEvent to IpcMessageRequest: Unknown method

So you mean that on Wayland it's flipped but on XWayland it's not?

if it helps at all, only the visuals of the embedded CEF are flipped vertically. I still have to click at the position the buttons would normally be in. Thanks for the window decor flag also :) everything else seems to be working ok

i understand why this could happen but couldn't reproduce this, tried on GNOME and KDE with Wayland, which desktop environment are you using?

I use Hyprland usually, you're right to think its compositor / de dependent as I just tried on sway and it didn't occur there. I'll look more into this with hyprland devs then :)

fixed in hyprland by hyprwm/Hyprland@610c59d

this branch is still missing clipboard on wayland btw, can't copy / paste
you can also press the back mouse button on your mouse and you'll get to a black page
the hiding of window decor seems to work, but the title bar will randomly come back, sometimes when pressing esc
video playback is also stuttery / laggy on amd, works fine on nvidia though
