As a long-time user Pro user, I use UB as my go-to cycling computer. However, over the past few months I've noticed that the speed updates are very slow. I can count a ~10-sec lag between a speed change/stop and an update to the speedometer display. I don't ever recall experiencing such lag. Using a different cycling computer app I don't see this kind of lag, so I don't believe it's related to the BLE devices in use. I've disabled GPS entirely thinking that this would help. I've also entirely removed and reinstalled the UB app to remove old caches/config data as a potential variable. But still seeing the lag. I'd guess that I began noticing this lag over the past few months or so.
SHOULD
As noted, with a different cycling computer app, I don't see the ~10 second lag that I'm seeing with the UB app. The UB app speedometer should "track" reported speed within only a few seconds of actual BLE device speed.
I've walked through the settings options, and what I'm really looking for is a way to mitigate any data "smoothing" introduced into speed reporting. Or... is there a way to do this directly in the JSON config file (at least for the sake of testing)?
