Installation

To get started with this mobile project, you'll need to set it up in Android Studio using Kotlin. Follow these steps to install and set up the project:

Prerequisites

  • Ensure you have Android Studio installed on your computer.
  • Basic knowledge of Kotlin and Android development is recommended.

Setting Up the Project

  1. Clone the Repository: First, clone this repository to your local machine using Android Studio or through the command line:

    git clone https://github.com/TOEKANGKU/mobile.git
  2. Open the Project in Android Studio:

a. Open Android Studio.

  • Select 'Open an Existing Project' and navigate to the folder where you cloned the project.
  • Choose the project directory and click 'OK' to open the project in Android Studio.

b. Configure the Kotlin Environment:

  • Once the project is open, Android Studio should automatically detect that Kotlin is used and prompt you to install any necessary Kotlin dependencies. Follow the prompts to install them.
  • If you have to do this manually, navigate to Tools > Kotlin > Configure Kotlin in Project and follow the steps provided by Android Studio.

c. Sync the Project with Gradle Files:

  • After opening the project, allow Android Studio to automatically sync the project with the necessary Gradle files. This may take a few minutes.
  • If it doesn't start automatically, you can trigger it by clicking on 'File > Sync Project with Gradle Files'.

d. Run the Application:

  • After syncing, you can run the application by clicking on the 'Run' button in the toolbar.
  • You can run the app on either an emulator or an actual Android device.
