Follow-up to #331. Production stopped at the sitemap freshness gate because the shared /play/ HTML shell changed on 24 September but its lastmod remained 14 September. Updates that one sitemap date and records the failure honestly. No gameplay code, analytics scope, or hosting configuration changes. Validated sitemap freshness against committed main and its 10 regression cases. Uses the existing release branch naming convention so a real deploy preview can run. Kevin approved website-only cleanup and protected-main deployment.
