game crash immediately after use any buttons on controller (touch controll also)

game and controller work fine on version 2.9

Most likely this is the gamepad input path inside the Wine layer, not the app itself. Your controller and the on-screen controls feed the same virtual gamepad into Wine, so a crash on either points at Wine's XInput handling — and the 3.0.9 release notes say Proton 9 is exactly the layer that does not have the XInput fix; only the rebuilt v6 layers do. NFS Rivals is also only validated on those newer layers.

Try this:

1. On the container card, tap Update layer → v6 (GE-Proton 11.0-6 arm64ec v6 or Proton 11 v6). Your old layer is snapshotted, so you can revert from the ⋮ menu.
2. Keep SteamLite launch mode and check the Community Configs library for a ready-made Rivals config.

A code change would only be relevant if the crash persists on the v6 layer; whether that happens is the maintainer's call — nothing has changed as a result of this reply.
