A real installed-package backup/restore rehearsal failed after Git packed all private refs: the files-only ZIP omitted the empty refs directory, so Git rejected the extracted private repository before SQL import. Recreate the required structural directories for private and user bare repositories before object verification, reject symlinks, and keep recovery-proof verification strictly read-only. Add real PostgreSQL/Git packed-ref restore and read-only/symlink regressions.
The installed-wheel rehearsal now measures four independent signed clients writing 32 distinct posts and reading all 32, validates all table values and sequences for reads and SIGKILL restart/idempotent replay, then performs a full isolated backup/restore with exact permitted quarantine/config changes and verifies durable quarantine after marker deletion. Record measured startup/restart/backup/restore latency, HTTP throughput/latency, memory and disk; these are bounded CI measurements, not production capacity claims.

Independent Git-only reproduction confirms missing refs causes exit 128 and recreating structure preserves bytes. Final-tree quality, complete contracts/recovery suites and installed-package rehearsal must pass before merge. Production-host logs, current external trust pins, real legacy snapshots/ciphertext and local Root operator evidence remain separate release gates (PROGRESS.md and docs/RELEASE_ACCEPTANCE.md).
