- 🔭 I’m currently working on TOEFL exam (5 times!!!)
- 🌱 I’m currently learning basic knowledge of computer science.
- 🤔 I’m looking for help with coding (I cannot code by myself!!!)
It happened right before a crucial exam. My laptop decided to force a Windows update at the worst possible moment, leaving me staring at the screen for ten agonizing minutes. That experience of losing control over my own hardware left me frustrated and determined to find an alternative. To ensure this would never happen again, a close friend helped me flash FydeOS—a ChromiumOS-based system—onto my machine. It was the perfect middle ground, capable of running my required exam proctoring software while offering both Android and Linux environments.
As it turned out, the Android subsystem had some compatibility issues with my hardware, forcing me to rely on the Linux container instead. This accidental deep dive introduced me to the unique philosophy and culture of Linux, and before I knew it, I was hooked.
The story takes a colorful turn from there: while seeking troubleshooting help online, I noticed that a vast number of helpful experts in the Linux community sported anime avatars, many of whom were hardcore Touhou Project fans. Under their subtle influence, I eventually found myself drawn into that world as well, becoming a proud dual enthusiast of both Linux and Touhou.
