Getting Started

Prerequisites

• Node.js 18+
• PostgreSQL database

Setup Database

1. Create a PostgreSQL database named dayflow
2. Update the DATABASE_URL in backend/.env:

DATABASE_URL="postgresql://postgres:password@localhost:5432/dayflow?schema=public"

Install & Run Backend

cd backend
npm install
npx prisma db push
npm run dev

Backend will run on http://localhost:5000

Install & Run Frontend

cd frontend
npm install
npm run dev

Frontend will run on http://localhost:3000
