Wick's Macro Builder

Clean macro editor for TBC Classic. Click-to-insert chips, drag macros straight onto your action bars, curated presets for all 9 classes.

Pages

Quick start

  1. Install via the CurseForge client or drop the folder into Interface\AddOns\.
  2. Type /wsmb to open the builder.
  3. Click chips on the General tab to insert into the editor, OR pick a class tab and click a preset.
  4. Hit Save — pick Global or Per-Character scope.
  5. Drag the icon from the right-side strip onto any action bar slot.

Highlights

  • General tab — 20 conditional chips (@mouseover, @focus, mod:shift, combat, etc.) and 18 slash command chips (#showtooltip, /cast, /castsequence, /use, etc.).
  • 9 class tabs — 6 curated TBC macros per class (54 presets total). Click to load into the editor.
  • Live 255-character counter — color-fades green → amber → red as you approach Blizzard's hard limit.
  • Drag macros to action bars — uses PickupMacro under the hood. Works in safe contexts (blocked in combat).
  • Icon strip on the right — vertical list of every macro in the current scope. Click to load, drag to action bar, click ? to pick a custom icon.
  • Per-character or global scope — toggle from the icon-strip header.

Compatibility

  • TBC Classic (Burning Crusade Classic / Anniversary), Interface 20505.
