[BUG] recommendations are not affected by "adult filter"

Describe the bug
Context: The app has a filter for showing recommendations. It also has a setting for allowing adult content. (great!)

Bug: when a user has activated recommendations, and allows for adult content to be included, the app will not recommend any adult content, only "non-adult".

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to settings
2. Enable 'Display recommendations'
3. Enable 'Include adult content'
4. Leave settings
5. Find an adult title
6. Look at recommendations made

Expected behavior
in step 6, adult content would be included with the non-adult recommendations
