For context, have a look at my explanation in the issue I linked. Because Adreno GPUs don't use minigbm or any known open source gralloc, we cannot extract the attributes to import Android GPU buffers into wlroots which expects dmabuf attributes for wlr_buffer. If you're going to use the wlroots egl/vulkan renderer, you will need that, otherwise implement a custom wlr_renderer which works using Android's EGL to render onto an Android onscreen Surface, but zero-copy is impossible that way. This is the reason as to why you are not getting display, it cannot render onto the Android app's surface without successfully and properly importing AHardwareBuffer into wlroots as a wlr_buffer.
