IRONLOG v1.1.0 - Android
IRONLOG 1.1.0 is the first major upgrade after the public 1.0 baseline. It keeps logging fast and local-first, and adds a much stronger layer of progression, recovery, analytics, backup, and day-to-day polish on top of the core workout logger.
What 1.1.0 adds
- Program Insights with adherence tracking, adaptive next-session targets, and missed-day guidance.
- Goal Modes for
Hypertrophy,Strength, andGeneral Fitness, wired into recommendation behavior. - Expanded Exercise Progress dashboards for
E1RM,Load,Reps,Volume,Consistency, andHistory. - Recovery score plus manual recovery check-ins for soreness, sleep, energy, and notes.
- Streaks, milestones, and weekly summary cards surfaced on Home.
- Smart notifications with Balanced defaults, quiet hours, cooldowns, snooze, and decision logging.
- First-launch restore wizard and versioned SQLite full-data export/import, alongside the existing backup and export flows.
- Share cards for bodyweight progress, exercise progress, and weekly summary.
- Active workout quality-of-life updates: inline edit and delete for logged sets, plus add exercise during a session.
- Cleaner analytics formatting, safer program-window handling, and validated preloaded program templates.
- Smoother navigation and refined premium countdown haptics in the final seconds of the timer.
- Google Drive backup support with both
AppDataand visible folder sync modes, plus runtime OAuth setup for builds that do not ship with a baked client ID.
Upgrade and data notes
- Updating from
v1.0.0preserves existing local workout history and settings in place. - IRONLOG remains local-first on Android. Google Drive is a backup destination, not live device sync.
- If Android app data is removed by uninstall, restore continuity depends on encrypted backup or export and import.
Release trust
- Android release packaging blocks unused risky permissions such as
RECORD_AUDIOandSYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW.
Legacy Alpha 0.5 (Unsupported) - v1.1.0-beta
Legacy Notice
This release is part of the legacy alpha line and is no longer supported. Active development moved to IronlogDB (WatermelonDB-first).
IRONLOG 1.1.0-beta (Android)
Build target: commit 80cd6b7 (RC refresh)
Included in this beta refresh
- Library + plan system hardening pass with canonical alias resolution and safer template validation.
- Smart notification engine closure in Balanced mode with deterministic caps, cooldowns, quiet-hours, and already-actioned suppression.
- Export/import continuity upgrades so notification/recovery/milestone state round-trips with SQLite v2 bundles.
- Home screen weekly summary alignment fixes and UI polish from latest device QA.
- Release-closure QA gate (
qa:rc) wired and passing.
Data and migration safety
- Existing 1.0/1.1 user logs remain preserved on in-place updates.
- Local-first storage remains default; uninstall continuity requires encrypted backup or export/import restore.
- Migration + export/import contract checks are included in the RC QA pass.
