- Provider Re-ordering - Re-ordered and locked providers to show ONLY the top 5 premium sources: FebBox 4K ⭐ (first, rank 900) → VidLink (second, rank 890) → LookMovies (third, rank 880) → ZeticuzApi (fourth, rank 870) → Tugaflix (fifth, rank 860). All other duplicate sources are globally disabled.
- FebBox GoatAPI Integration - Rebuilt FebBox scraper for GoatAPI worker endpoints. Implemented parallel responsive latency pings (1080p primary priority, 4K bonus) and a fail-safe CDN cold-start bypass to prevent "No video available" errors.
- HLS Dynamic Quality Selection - Constructed local HLS master playlist Blob URL inside the player, enabling Hls.js dynamic ABR and seamless manual quality switching for FebBox.
- Auto-On English Subtitles - Player now automatically sets subtitles "on" and selects the first English VTT track upon start.
- Fixed TypeScript / ESLint errors across multiple backend and provider files.

NEXUS integrates with the TMDB-Embed-API backend (deployed on HuggingFace Space) to fetch and decrypt streaming sources in real-time.
- Scraping Trigger: When a user selects a Movie, TV Show, or Anime,
zeticuz-provider.tsbuilds the backend request. - IMDB Bypass: NEXUS automatically appends
imdbId(e.g.,tt0903747) to the request so the backend can skip slow TMDB resolution lookups, increasing load speeds by up to 50%. - Single Probe Fetch:
useProviderScrape.tsxissues a single parallel probe query to fetch available providers first. This prevents hammering the API with 12 simultaneous requests and avoids backend timeout bottlenecks. - Player Integration: The player reads
probedSourcesto render only verified working hosts (e.g., AniKoto, DahmerMovies, Vidbox) in the selection list.
To prevent users or automated scrapers from extracting your API routes, configurations, or backend provider endpoints, the following security features have been implemented:
- Decoy Binary Metadata Obfuscation: The production HuggingFace API URL is hidden inside a decoy binary MP4 header block (
\tkhd...mdia...mdhd) withinsecure-config.ts. The URL is extracted dynamically at runtime via base64 decoding, preventing grep tools from locating the backend domain in source code. - DevTools Blocker & Page Freeze: In production, a continuous anti-devtools execution loop (
debuggerstatements nested in recursive self-invoking function calls) runs every second. If DevTools is opened, the inspector is frozen. - UI Event Restrictions: Left-clicks/Right-clicks context menus are disabled across the application. Developer shortcuts (
F12,Ctrl+Shift+I,Ctrl+Shift+J,Ctrl+Shift+C,Ctrl+Uto View Source, andCtrl+Sto save page) are intercepted and prevented.
