v1.1.2 - First Public Release

PureShield is now publicly available on GitHub.

This first release introduces a lightweight, privacy-respecting Android Application focused on digital wellbeing: blocking short-form content (Reels/Shorts) and filtering harmful web content, all without collecting any data.

  • Optional uninstall protection with PIN (Device Admin), designed to reduce impulsive uninstall behavior

  • On-device processing only (no cloud processing)

Notes

  • Accessibility Service is required for the core blocking feature and is user-enabled only.
  • Device Admin is optional and used only for uninstall protection when the user enables it.
