1.FUTURE POPULATION FORECAST(2025-2030)

Using NASA’s WorldPop data, users can view population change forecasts between 2025 and 2030.

Feature1

By comparing the two images, it becomes clear that the number of people aged 80–84 in this region will increase between 2025 and 2030.

You can visually see population change forecasts on a map, as well as through population pyramids. This makes it clear which regions are experiencing increases or decreases in population, and which groups (by gender and age) are changing.

2. AI-POWERED ANALYSIS

Users can ask questions via the chat displayed on the screen, and the AI will analyze the characteristics of the population in that region and provide answers.

  • Is there a need for a park in this area?
  • Which region most urgently requires new housing development?

Q : What preparations should be made for this evacuation center? →Example AI-Answers :
A: The number of elderly residents over a certain age will increase. Please prioritize barrier-free facilities.
A: This region shows a relative increase in younger women. It is advisable to prepare sanitary products.
A: There are many children under the age of 9, so it is recommended to stock sufficient pediatric medicine.
AI can detect insights far faster and at lower cost than humans, often noticing points that people might easily overlook.With J-POP, the AI analyzes population increases and decreases, as well as changes in gender and age groups from 2025 to 2030.By leveraging AI, it may be possible to discover and solve challenges from entirely new perspectives.

Requirements

Recommended: Apple Silicon Mac, macOS Tahoe or later
Minimum: Apple Silicon Mac, macOS Sequoia

Installation

  1. **Download the J-POP_0.1.1_aarch64.dmg file from release **

  2. Open the downloaded J-POP_0.1.1_aarch64.dmg and drag J-POP.app into the Applications folder

  1. Open Terminal and run the following command:
    xattr -rc /Applications/J-POP.app
  2. Open J-POP.app from the Applications folder by clicking the app icon
