A creative brief generator for visual designers. Catalyst assembles natural-language prompts from structured fields — randomised or filtered by industry — so you can skip blank-canvas paralysis and get straight into a 5–20 minute practice draw.
- Generate a prompt — produces a natural-language creative brief (e.g. "Design a logo for a sports team") from randomised field combinations.
- Basic & advanced modes — basic outputs a short verb + deliverable + business brief; advanced adds style, location, business name, colour, audience and more.
- Filter by industry — narrow generation to one of 8 design disciplines, or leave it on "All" to roll across every industry.
- Lock fields — lock any individual field in the output (deliverable, business type, colour, audience, etc.) so regenerating only reshuffles the unlocked fields. Locking a field scopes the industry too, so you can't accidentally switch industries out from under a locked field.
- No-repeat history — won't resurface a combination you've already seen within an industry until the combination space for that industry is exhausted.
- Save prompts — bookmark a generated prompt (industry, prompt text, generated datetime) to localStorage; view them on a dedicated Saved page; unsave any time.
- Speed-draw timer — start a countdown (default 15 min, minimum 15 sec) on any prompt with a visual progress bar and optional completion sound. Pause, restart, reset, or jump straight to the next prompt with a 3-2-1 countdown.
- Draw history — every timer session completed successfully is logged with its datetime, industry, prompt and duration, grouped by date on the History page.
