Cleanup now pins each source Docker network to the identity captured in the immutable migration manifest and refuses automatic removal unless discovery, confirmation, and deletion all use the same canonical 64-character ID. Legacy short-ID manifests remain supported through manual removal followed by absence verification, so a same-prefix replacement cannot be deleted.

Manifest reads also use no-follow handles and stable file-state checks on Unix and Windows, preventing a replaced or concurrently changed manifest from authorizing cleanup. Purge progress, results, and private backups retain the canonical network identity for recovery and audit.
