DBVM is a general-purpose relational DBMS designed as a drop-in-replacement for Altibase Community Edition. The project combines a reliable architecture with modern improvements.
Key features of DBVM (Altibase CE):
- supports both disk-based and in-memory data storage,
- architecturally, functionally and syntactically (commands) similar to the Oracle Database: Altibase/Oracle Comparison, ORACLE to ALTIBASE Conversion Guide.
