dmenu-tools

dmenu-tools is a collection of scripts powered by dmenu™.

• dmenu-global combines dmenu-menu and dmenu-run-recent
• dmenu-menu displays a list of the other dmenu scripts in this repo
• dmenu-run displays a list of all binaries in $PATH
• dmenu-run-recent is dmenu-run with history
• dmenu-project is a script to launch development environments for various projects
• dmenu-netcfg is a script to switch netcfg profiles
• dmenu-mpc is a script to control mpd

Setup

1. Clone the repo
2. Configure your preferred shortcut (keyboard, hotzone, whatever - I like to use Meta-Space) to launch dmenu-global in your DE.

Alternatively, just add shortcuts for the individual scripts you want to use.

Exit codes

0   - successful
1   - bad argument
2   - file not found
