Enhanced alphaopic() Function
The alphaopic() function now returns a comprehensive set of light exposure metrics:
- Equivalent Daylight Illuminance (lux)
- Equivalent Daylight Luminance (cd/m²)
- A-opic Irradiance (W/m²)
- A-opic Radiance (W/m²·sr⁻¹)
- Photon Irradiance (log10 photons·cm⁻²·s⁻¹)
- Photon Radiance (log10 photons·cm⁻²·s⁻¹·sr⁻¹)
This enables full spectral quantification across luminous, radiant, and photon-based systems.
New vlambda() Function
Calculates photopic illuminance or luminance
Implements the standard V(λ) photopic sensitivity function
Suitable for classical lighting and visual assessment applications
New blambda() Spectral Weighting Function
Implements biological spectral weighting functions for ecological light pollution research.
Calculates biological light detection metrics for:
- Animals
- Plants and microorganisms
- All organisms
