  • 👋 Hi, I am @aluisascosta
  • I am currently a statistical programmer at Cogitars GmbH (Germany).
  • 👀 Interested in: clinical research, programming (R, bash, and Python), biostatistics, bioinformatics, biomarkers/PK, and data visualisation.
  • 🎓 Academics: I have a strong background in biomarker statistics and bioinformatics, focus areas of my PhD/MSc, where I used my skills to extract meaningful insights from next-generation sequencing data in oncology and immunology studies. My PhD also focused on the development of ML models for cell function, epigenomics, and transcriptomics. Find out more in my publications here.
  • 🐱 Outside of work, I enjoy cooking/baking, petting cats, painting watercolours, watching epic fantasy films, and drinking tea.
