Goal: automatically add the
datafusionlabel to DataFusion-related issues and PRs. Only committers and collaborators can add labels, so these usually go unlabeled.How: a small workflow using
github/issue-labelerthat addsdatafusionwhen the title or body mentions datafusion (case-insensitive).pull_request_targetso fork PRs get labeled too. It never checks out PR code, and the regex config is read from maingithub/*actions are on the ASF allowlist by defaultWhy not
actions/labeler(used by iceberg and iceberg-go)?Are these changes tested?
Ran actionlint and zizmor locally. Workflows on these triggers only run from main, so we'll see it in action after merge.
