Where the information came from. Everything here is assembled from material a member of the public can reach with a browser and no credentials — the company's own website, developer portal and documentation, the specifications it publishes for public use (OpenAPI, AsyncAPI, JSON Schema,
apis.json,llms.txtand similar), its public repositories, and its public status, pricing and changelog pages. Nothing here is obtained by breaching a system, defeating an access control, or using credentials of any kind.The rating is an independent assessment. The Kin Score and Agent Readiness rating are independently calculated scores of a company's public API artifacts, produced by API Evangelist against a published rubric. They are not certifications, endorsements, security assessments, or audits, and they score published artifacts — not the quality, safety, or security of the software.
Corrections, re-scores, and removal are free. No partnership, contract, or purchase is required, and you do not need to justify the request.

Buzzsprout is a podcast hosting platform that handles hosting, distribution, promotion, and analytics for podcasters - uploading and optimizing audio, publishing an RSS feed, listing shows in directories like Apple Podcasts and Spotify, and reporting on plays. Buzzsprout also exposes a documented public REST API (base https://www.buzzsprout.com/api) so third parties can programmatically read and manage the podcasts and episodes on an account.

The Buzzsprout API is a documented public REST API intended for third parties integrating with the platform. Its official reference lives in the public GitHub repository buzzsprout/buzzsprout-api. Key characteristics:
- RESTful and JSON-serialized, over SSL only. Base URL:
https://www.buzzsprout.com/api. - Token authentication. Send the token as the header
Authorization: Token token=YOUR_TOKEN(the token is prefixed by the literaltoken=with no whitespace), or as anapi_tokenquery parameter. Tokens come from the Buzzsprout admin account section. - Account-scoped, not open access. You operate only on the podcasts and episodes belonging to your own account; the podcast id in the episode paths comes from your account.
- Client requirements. A custom
User-Agentis required (some default agents are blocked). POST/PUT requests must useContent-Type: application/json; charset=utf-8or the API returns415. Responses carryETag/Last-Modifiedfor conditional (304) requests, and clients should retry on5xxerrors. - No WebSocket. Buzzsprout's own API is request/response REST; distribution happens through the RSS feed and downstream directories. See review.yml.

List, retrieve, create, and update the episodes on a Buzzsprout podcast. Episodes are scoped to a podcast id at /api/{podcast_id}/episodes.json, and audio can be attached by URL (audio_url) or file upload (audio_file) with optional email notification after processing.
