🚨 Severity: HIGH
πŸ’‘ Vulnerability: A fast-path rate limit implementation attempting to avoid parsing c.FormValue() (which reads the request body and can cause exhaustion DoS with large payloads) was still indirectly parsing the form by using a global getRD() helper that called c.FormValue().
🎯 Impact: An attacker could bypass the early-exit fast-path rate limiting mechanism by submitting large form payloads, leading to potential resource exhaustion and Denial of Service (DoS).
πŸ”§ Fix: Replaced all usages of the getRD(c) function with c.QueryParam("rd") and removed the getRD function entirely, ensuring that fast-path rate limits only read from the query parameters and avoid implicitly parsing the request body.
βœ… Verification: Ensure the application starts, all tests pass, and fast-path rate limits correctly reject requests without parsing form bodies.
